The Beijing Airport was cool - just incredibly big. Our walk from security to our gate was .7 miles [I know cos I'm wearing a pedometer]. And, that was after we took a 7 minute train ride from the check in gate to the security check point...

We stopped by Ehwa Womans University on our first day in Seoul, and I really liked it - a very sensitive [and sensible] addition to a historic campus that consisted of two operational moves: dig down, then cut pedestrian axis through. It does so many useful things - like bring light to underground classrooms, and provide a giant green roof/park space - and so many engaging things, like constantly change the occupants' relationships with the building and with each other sectionally, or reflect and bounce the sun, people, or clouds between the glass facades, or create impromptu mini performance and gathering areas. Bottom line: slopes are awesome!
